So much of the comics advice I've found most useful is not big-picture meaning-of-life storytelling stuff, but "every page should end on a mini-cliffhanger" and "make sure each issue includes at least one splash page the artist can sell at a convention"

It's really important to think about attribution and think about impersonation, and so on. As an expert, you have a trade you make on the internet. The idea is that when you put content out there, myself included, you hope people use it. You want to refer to other people's content.
You want people to link to you. You really, really hope they attribute you when they do. When somebody uses your content, should they attribute you? Of course. And to attribute you, you have to use your name.
There's a different line which is, should people be able to impersonate you? And I think that is a very different standard. And we saw the lawsuit. Respectfully, we believe the claims are without merit. The idea that the feature is impersonation is quite a big stretch. Every mention was very clearly, "This is inspired not only by this person, but also inspired by a specific work from this specific person, with a clear attributed link to get back to them." I further put forward that we be allowed to be a little bit rude about it. look what the obsession with civility has gotten us. if a person is being hateful or saying something untrue, you should be allowed to get a little bitchy if you need to!

I think it’s also true that loneliness among women has historically been treated as an individual problem, while loneliness among men is treated as a societal problem. That, in turn, comes from an assumption that women are supposed to earn the company of others while men are entitled to it.

I don’t think there was a single dry eye in my mostly full theater. It was transcendent, it feels like Jessie Buckley made herself a conduit for something so powerful and human that it completely leapt off the screen

I have no idea who else will get nominated, but I can’t fathom l a performance out there that can top Jessie Buckley’s.
If some guy stole my shit and made millions off it while wiping out my job prospects, and you, as my friend, bought that guy's cheap mass market replica of my shit, you and i would for obvious reasons have a problem. It being a massive company, not a guy, actually makes it even more of a problem.

Collective action is the way. Good for everyone that’s a “name” talent pledging to torpedo the creative credibility of any org that capitulates to unconstitutional censorship. Now, where can the unions use their leverage beyond the immediate condemnation statements?
