Congrats to Andy Perrin (PhD 2013) on being awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant for a new research project, "Daniel in Ancient Jewish Scribal Imagination"! The project will re-examine the formation, development, and shape of the Daniel tradition in light of the Dead Sea Scrolls discoveries at Qumran.

Dear Pastors and Apologists, I see you out there talking about the Great Isaiah Scroll being “proof” of the “truth of the Bible” due to it being “95% accurate to what we have in the Bible.” Stop. Please, just stop. The textual evidence is much, MUCH more complicated than that.
