NHS cancelling surgeries for adults even after they’ve already paid for travel + accommodation and waited years to get there. Some were about to be wheeled into theatre! Every manager responsible for this decision must be sacked and every patient paid compensation.

Trans people are white and islanders. And trans people are being attacked as trans, repeatedly. In many countries across the world.
The destructive scanning of books is actually about US copyright law more than anything. AI companies were ruled not to have to worry about copyright infringement if they destroy the books they scan.

I was just talking to a friend today about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - new books every month, totally for free, for kids ages 1-5. My son was part of the program - this is a copy of the letter that came with his last book, right after his 5th birthday.

Between the anxiety and depression, it really feels like I've forgotten who I am. What do I enjoy? How do I actually like spending my days? It really just feels like I'm occupying a life rather than living. Weird feeling.
Sometimes society at large rejects certain ideas because they’ve been thoroughly shown to be wrong and also because they suck and the people who espouse them suck and when someone comes around arguing those ideas should be part of some edgy modern debate we can and should shun them and move on.
Begging editors around the country to retire the phrase “transgender debate.” That’s not what this is. That’s not what this ever has been!
