I recently participated in a community project that will be out soon, and the sense of satisfaction I'm getting from that is so so welcome. Projects like these make me feel like maybe there's actually small things I can do rather than feel powerless, and that maybe it will make a small difference.

Reading a fic that was set during the time period when I was in high school and hearing one of the characters say they were "crashing out" just made me feel ANCIENT bc I immediately realized that the author probably wasn't old enough to realize that phrase wasn't a thing back then
