Digital Media Guy • You might remember me from such blogs as The Superficial, @pajiba.com, and well, probably just those.

“We’re not going to vote our way out of this.” Yes, we are. You’re about to watch it happen in real time and without anyone firing or even carrying a gun, you fucking weirdos. What is this discourse? Are we doing militias but leftistly now? Jesus.

Every elected official does this. In many cases the elected officials you regard as ideological and policy mediocrities are quite good at it, which is why they’re handily releected. Also, well-known, publicly recognizable figures who spend a lot of time in media are often bad at it.

I’ve always wondered why the democrats never just went ahead and formed community assistance groups. Have dedicated staff at their offices to help people navigate Medicaid or getting their paperwork for voting or getting food assistance. Is it illegal?

The audience only wants films ▪️with superheroes ▪️without superheroes ▪️with incredible VFX ▪️with no "CGI" ▪️that help them escape from reality ▪️that are realistic and grounded ▪️that are good distractions ▪️that are thought-provoking Pick one for your post that will be invalidated in two weeks.

Quick thoughts on Wonder Man 1. It was a delightful surprise and who wouldn’t want more of that chemistry? I sure did! 2. It does, however, end its story perfectly. 3. The obvious reason Season 2 got knifed is Destin Daniel Crettin is about to be very busy knocking out a new Spidey trilogy.

Ross Douthat looks like some inbred dipshit from the Riverlands in Game of Thrones who would be wearing one of those helmets with leather ear flaps that make you look like a halfwit who then proceeds to get run over by a horse drawn cart fleeing a dragon

“We just want to feed people” is the same shit as “we just want healthcare” is the same shit as “we just want to stop the genocide.” It’s shibboleths all the way down, all designed to keep people from ever actually having a real conversation about the underlying topic.

None of these people are interested in feeding people. “Feeding people” has become a shibboleth and “with city run grocery stores” is the pointy end to jab people with.

Kat Abu openly caused this dogpile to spam a fundraising link, but Will is the problem? This just proves his point that this site has in-group narratives that dare not be challenged or its pitchfork time.

will, please stop. enough already. i'm tired of seeing you yelling at people and frankly tired of seeing people yelling at you. there has to be a better way to live, man. this isn't good for anyone.
