They tried to defeat El-Sayed and many others, and failed. It’s incredibly rude to the Democrats who voted in this election to accuse them of being duped by AIPAC. The people who elected Cori Bush then rejected her. Twice. It wasn’t because of AIPAC

It’s true. I hate their message and I hate their money pouring into our elections but we need to stop acting like AIPAC is an unstoppable juggernaut thwarting progressive candidates. The ones who have lost, didn’t lose bc of AIPAC. They lost because they were bad and their constituents rejected them

I hate that the obvious answer about WHY so many “leftists” “pro-democracy” and “populist” groups support racists is that they are filled with racist people who deny Black folks basic humanity. There’s no reason to frame a known racist white man winning as overcoming the “establishment”.

Fed. judge holds DHS in civil contempt of court for refusing "intentionally and not in good faith" to provide plaintiffs with phone images they intend to use to prove DHS was racially profiling people arrested in Los Angeles without reasonable suspicion. Order from July 28, unsealed today.

B. Defendants’ Noncompliance Is Intentional And Not In Good Faith. Having found that Defendants are in violation of the January 16 Forensic Imaging Order, the burden now shifts to Defendants to show that they were unable to comply. Affordable Media, 179 F.3d at 1239 (9th Cir. 1999). They fail to make that showing. Upon review of the parties’ submissions and counsel’s representations at the hearing, it does not appear that Defendants’ noncompliance is due to an inability to comply. Instead, the clear and convincing evidence shows that Defendants have acted intentionally and not in good faith.

A person detained by ICE stopped eating to protest conditions inside the facility where he was being held.According to ICE’s own health records,ICE responded by restraining him & subjecting him to forced urinary catheterization, forced hydration, &involuntary blood draws without his consent!
