Libraries are great for authors! Libraries pay more for our books, high circulation wears them out so they have to buy them again—AND they’re more likely to buy our next book. Plus, publishers consider library sales when weighing our future contracts. Please check our books out from the library! 📚💜

One irony of being a YA author is most interactions we have about our books end up being with adults. And that's Vance in a nutshell: even his racism and misogyny are utterly unoriginal. He's a person who wholly lacks curiosity about the world he lives in. He's clearly made no effort to gain a better understanding of public policy during his time in the Senate and as VPOTUS.

Organisations which also want to remain trans-inclusive need to receive support on how to do so within the law. In a similar way, those that wish to exclude trans men and women from their spaces also need to know how to do so without breaching individual rights to privacy. (6/7)

Exactly. Renee Richards was national news in 1977 and from that point legislators said not our business, let sporting orgs handle it. Which functioned fine 40+ years until it became the propaganda leader to go after trans AND gay rights.
