this isn't very popular to say, but for me personally, it was good that i had unrestricted internet access when i was a minor. i was aware of what i was doing and enjoyed it. i don't look back on it and go "well that was a mistake", i look back on it and wish i could do it for the first time again

I'm in software, AI has actively been useful to me in my actual job, it's also been a hindrance whenever my non-technically skilled manager thinks they can help solve a problem because AI spat out some nonsense based on a prompt written by someone that didn't understand the scope of the problem

I’m not sure why these data guys are convinced it’s possible to appeal to a supermajority coalition by triangulating on policy, when data shows voters do not vote on anything close to a rational basis. People who vote Republican do so because they see it as part of their identity.
