Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.

The interesting thing about school closures during covid (agree with them or not) is they had much less impact on long-term academic outcomes than people expected (me included). But much more long-term impact on mental health and attendance.

I'm convinced by the stories people with visual impairments tell about how useful smart glasses are for them, but none of these users seem to depend on being able to record video, which is the main thing that makes them "pervert glasses". Why can't we just regulate that?

This was intentional. First drones, now missiles. Russia is gauging NATO’s (specifically the US) response to these violations. Every time they strike far Western Ukraine, they get data on Polish operating procedures - alerts, jets scrambled, communications with allies, etc.

Ukrainian intelligence officers recruited Russian men through "Daivinchik," a Telegram dating bot. The name is a Russian rendering of "Da Vinci" and is widely used for dating chats and matchmaking inside Telegram. Since July 2025, Russian authorities have detained 46 Daivinchik users who allegedly attacked police officers or carried out arson attacks across 16 of the country's regions on orders from Ukrainian intelligence services. According to the FSB, Ukrainian intelligence officers contacted Russian men while posing as women and sent them malicious links, supposedly to pay for movie tickets or gifts. Ukrainian agents then allegedly contacted the victims, presenting themselves as Russian law enforcement officers or representatives of Rosfinmonitoring, Russia's financial monitoring agency. "The fake law enforcement officers said the money sent had gone to accounts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and that the coordinates provided had been used by the enemy to plan missile strikes and drone attacks," the FSB claimed.
