Great example of the difference between data-driven and data-informed. We need to be data-informed but the data don't tell us everything. Context is important.

It really feels like there is no baseball mind helping to making decisions for this team. Letting the game on field be played by algorithms over humans is never gonna succeed.
I, too, am allergic to Bactrim. I have not eaten an uncooked vegetable since this mess started. Grateful to Matt Courtland on Bluesky for their thread that informed me. And my nutritionist for helping me brainstorm solutions (gonna peel my own farmers market carrots under lots of water).

Unfortunately many people (ME) are allergic to sulfa drugs and the only way you find that out is when your tongue swells in your mouth and you break out in hives like I did

Anyone could die from Cyclosporiasis, but they want you to believe it can’t happen to you. It can only happen to the weak, the disabled, the elderly. The expendable people. Eugenics.

Today started with no AC in the building, a stench of unknown origin, and the continuing saga of a mouse infestation. And then it went downhill from there. Time to unplug and start over tomorrow.

A quick note on Adley Rutschman: It is never easy being the face of a rebuild. The attention was on him every day. Credit to him with how he handled it, how he dealt with awkward questions, how he owned it when he struggled. Can only imagine seeing him leave hurts Orioles fans
I know so many people who have encountered him around Baltimore. I've never once heard anything bad about the man.

I was there that night too and we splurged and upgraded buying seats behind the plate and it’s still imprinted in my brain. I’m inconsolable. 😢💔

I know this game is a business. I’m not ignorant to that. It’s just this organization continues to gaslight us and make false promises while expecting us to still show up and spend our money. We need more. We deserve more.
Vacation is lovely and relaxing and all that stuff. But it is also lovely to be reunited with my own pillow that is just the right firmness.
