As far as I know, Tom Suozzi here still does not have a primary challenger in his district (NY-3 on Long Island). The filing deadline is April 6 for the primary on June 23, and if there's a remotely progressive town council member or PTA president in that district, this is the time to make a move.

Just got done with our hearing. We have another status hearing next month with a trial date (hopefully) in the spring. It’s more important than ever to stand strong against ICE and with the people protesting it. We’re fighting these charges and we’re going to win.

I am currently on my way to another hearing regarding my federal charges for protesting ICE. When I say our leaders must be willing to put everything on the line, I mean it. And frankly, I see it as the bare minimum in this moment.

Anadith Danay Reyes Álvarez died in government custody. She had sickle cell and congenital heart disease but couldn’t access timely and adequate medical care. We need to reform immigration detention.

One of the stories that makes me the saddest out of this ICE invasion is one out of the Minnesota Star Tribune today about ICE agents eating at a little Mexican restaurant in the small town of Willmar, Minn, —and then, when they were done, arresting some of the workers.
