Anyway, so now there are trans people in ICE custody having the medicine they've been on for years taken away, placed in solitary confinement or with men, and unfortunately, the political environment has made it so virtually no politician on any side will speak up for them/push to fix the problem.

Like, this story talks about a trans woman who has been on HRT for years just having it completely taken away from her for an extended period of time. Horrible, inhumane stuff.
