Program Administrator for State of Minnesota. I will probably post about pro wrestling, politics, music and comics, in that order. Thanks for stopping by. Thanks for breaking my cow lamp.

Based on the overwhelming consensus that I’ve heard in both public feedback and private conversations from government officials, service providers, encampment residents, and public health experts, I do not believe we are prepared to responsibly close the encampments beginning tomorrow.

St. Paul prepares to clear homeless encampment amid questions

On July 8, citing a growing number of fires, fatal overdoses and reported sexual assaults, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her announced plans to close the city’s three largest homeless encampments on a rolling...

Minnesota! 📣 Ever think about what the $4.4 billion of federal taxpayer dollars spent on mass deportations could buy instead? We did. Wednesday, we're launching a tool that shows the economic tradeoffs of Trump's immigration + deportation assault on our communities. Get a peek here 👇

The cost of mass deportations in states like Minnesota—and what federal tax dollars could be funding instead

This week, EPI will release a new tool showing the cost of mass deportations to taxpayers in every U.S. city, county, and state. For the first time, the actual economic tradeoffs imposed on all taxpay...

You are willing to believe that a person has the proportionate strength and speed of a spider, can climb walls, and has a 6th sense that warns him of danger but even in such a fantastical universe Little Caesar’s can’t make a decent pizza? Checks out.

So basically an adversary could attack any blue state and Trump wont care because he doesn't see himself as the President of the "United States" Without a doubt the most worst president we've ever had. Anti-republic, anti-democratic, anti-constitutional just devoid of basic dignity

Trump: "We heard in Minnesota there was a cyberattack and they blame it on Iran. I don't think so. I blame it on Minnesota because they're grossly incompetent. Iran's got bigger problems than worrying about Minnesota."

Make no mistake here. This is Trump objectively taking the side of Iran, a nation we are currently at war with, over the Americans in Minnesota because he hates the governor and the fact that a majority of voters there did not vote for him

It’s remarkable how much Angie has pissed away all the “she’s not perfect but I understand what it takes to win in that district and I support it” good will with her own actual campaigning choices.

minnesota state senator john hoffman revealed tonight at the peggy flanagan rally in st. paul that angie craig asked him for his endorsement for US senate while he was still in the ICU after vance boelter shot him really appalling anecdote!

just want to highlight this: While John Hoffman and his wife were in the ICU recovering from being shot *17 times* between the two of them (9 for John, 8 for Yvette), Angie Craig was asking him about endorsing her for senate. Ghoulish.

Wait. They all shake hands at the end? What are we even doing here? He's the US President suing you for $20 billion for reporting on the birthday card he sent his friend the pedophile in which he drew a naked girl & mused about secrets. And they all shake hands?

Remarkable camera angle of President Trump as he listens to Wall Street Journal reporters receiving an award for their investigation into Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein — which they pursued despite Trump’s threats and lawsuit.

Thanks to everyone for reaching out about how important it is to them for Pilllar to stay open. I’m happy to report that we’ve found a path forward for them to open back up their venue side tomorrow!! The massive show of community support all across the city for Pilllar was so heartening to see.

Our beloved neighborhood cafe & music venue Pillar Forum has been shut down by the City for fire code violations. They were working on the problem but the City decided they can’t host music anymore. Pillar was there for us every day during the Surge. Chip in a couple bucks so they can pay staff.

This speech is quite literally an impeachable offense. The President is trying to undermine faith in US elections and to delegitimize the elections of public officials.

One point I want to make about the influencer in question: his method of politics is thoroughly unoriginal Oh, Doc Amber won’t vote for the lesser of two evils? I’ve never heard such a bold and novel approach to electoral politics before.

Seth@sethbose9.bsky.social · 3w ago

This thread is really good. There is something to influencers saying party politics sucks (true), and that they have a magical solution to make politics better. Then you ask them what that solution is and it's just a vague word salad of "if politics were better then they'd be better."

Posting to an audience can do some stuff - the DFL invests in influencers because it generates funding for us! Great! But don't mistake it for praxis. It's a tool but it can't be everything. Get on the doors. Talk to your neighbors. That is where change happens.

An apparent ICE-related shooting in Maine is a good time to remember to treat the agency's initial claims with skepticism rather than credulity.

The tent camps are deeply unpleasant. They are locations of drug crimes and sex crimes, and they make health care inaccessible. But tearing down the camp doesn’t solve these problems. It will just move the unhoused to a different location.
