If you interpreted this as "6502 programming is the future of Tech" you missed the point. 6502 is useless. And that's the point. It's not about the damn chip. It's about the people who can extract value out of seemingly useless things, without any immediately obvious economic value.

For games especially, being anti-AI absolutists matters. Barks, "placeholder art," wherever they think they can get away with has to be treated like rat feces in food. an interesting tension in the commercial side of games is that the industry is both very insistent on the hardware + new release treadmill: everything must be disposable, everything new must be better; and at the same time they are /incredibly/ conservative about ever doing anything new.
