Apple briefly overtook Nvidia earlier this year. The intervention from The US Treasury & Japanese MoF bought them a few more months of pump for insider exits. Don't think Nvidia comes back this time.

Since there is an (unfortunate) uptick in interest, I put all my Patrick Stewart prints in one convenient place: brandonbird.myshopify.com/collections/...
He greets me every day. Thanks @brandonbird.bsky.social for the daily good cheer from our Captain
A tribute to a great man and beloved Captain. ❤️ Sir Patrick's family has requested donations to Johns Hopkins Alzheimer's research, supporting the efforts to solve a disease you all know is close to my heart and has deeply affected so many. Please give to this research if you are able. ✨🍀 -Kate

thought for bit about what picard clip to post in tribute and obviously everyone will be posting many fantastic speeches and big acting moments but i want to go the other way. a good actor can do there are four lights. but it takes a great actor to land this
I often always remember this scene of Measure of a Man from TNG, where Picard realises the dire moral implications of the judgement over Data, and the way in which Patrick Stewart portrays the full weight of it. RIP
Three years ago plus a couple weeks and my lady, me and my sister were in the same room as Patrick Stewart and LeVar Burton and it was a special night, it was great to see him as himself, even as I got to see him on Broadway with Sir Ian
"Sometimes, Number One, you just have to bow to the absurd."
Loved Patrick Stewart being in anything- TNG, Lifeforce, Dune, Green Room, etc - but it’s always this scene in TNG that I think of when I think of why I loved this man. The patience, empathy, kindness and ultimately fascination for interacting with a fellow sentient being.

The original plan was that the Titan would be renamed the Picard. I wish they had gone through with it.
"Five Card Stud, nothing wild. And the sky's the limit." The final scene of #StarTrek: #TheNextGeneration hits very hard today... 💔 RIP Sir Patrick Stewart | 1940 - 2026 🖖
Thank you for this perfect distillation of why Picard matters to so many of us and why today's news sucks so hard:
💚 I wrote about Patrick Stewart, aka Jean-Luc Picard, aka my TV dad www.moryan.com/rest-in-peac... 🚀
#RIP Patrick Stewart of 'Star Trek' Captain and 'X-Men' On 12-4-1997, after getting a @pressclubdc.bsky.social coffee mug, he was asked, "Just from a purely logical point of view, why is it that a Captain whose name is Jean-Luc Picard have a perfect English accent?" Patrick Stewart answer here:
There are 47 layers to this scene. It's incredible acting by one of the finest to ever do it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HVd-...

Good night, sweet prince. I can think of nothing more Patrick Stewart than his appearance on Sesame Street, matching a wry wit with Shakespearean perfection. Never met him, wish I had.
Captain Picard is one of the greatest characters ever. Brilliantly portrayed by Sir Patrick Stewart. I am devastated. May their memories be a blessing.
"I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived. After all, Number One, we're only mortal."

He made it so. Sadly, #StarTrek #TNG legend Patrick Stewart has died, following a brief battle with Alzheimer's and dementia, as announced on his personal social media accounts.
