I was driving back from the ferry down that direction and couldn’t help but notice the scale of the project. And still no safe active travel link from the ferry at Ringaskiddy toward Cork City?
Ideally you'd have regulations that force car manufacturers and tech companies to disable certain phone features and other digital distractions while the car is in motion. That's a heavy regulatory lift, of course, but the goal of advocates is to speak difficult things into existence.

Farmer organisations like the IFA and Macra, the ICMSA and @talamhbeo.bsky.social should come out with public statements about how Irish agriculture needs a minister that acknowledges that climate change is here, now and the industry needs to both adapt and mitigate for it - fast.
