Well, today was irksome. Except for all of the people who were kind about Long Covid or infuriated on behalf of its sufferers in my replies and in their replies to others. That was very heartening. I, and I’m sure many others, are grateful for the support. Very genuinely.
I love capturing those moments where London Underground trains line up perfectly with station posters. With a little patience and a bit of luck, you can end up with some wonderfully amusing and unexpected shots.
All you can do with the right-wing press is ignore it and get on with the job. Never try to appease these ghouls and their sundowning readership. They’re the people who thought Liz Truss was a good idea

Southgate Enterprise I always think about Star Trek when I visit Southgate London Underground station. The station building and the outside benches remind me of the Starship Enterprise. The cut out design didn't work with the main station which already looks like a classic flying saucer.

When the father of a murdered son makes a public statement saying "we do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension", then I believe it's incumbent on any news outlet reporting on Farage's comments to ensure people know he has chosen to disregard the family's wishes.
I spoke to @theipaper.com recently about the battle I’ve faced the past two years covering the spiralling costs of James’ care. Since the interview our local authority has offered a new care package that will take the pressure off - but still doesn’t reflect James’ 24/7 needs.
