Here's another nose-stretcher from the Canadian Press. Some dude claims Canada is as anti-semitic as Nazi Germany and national media give him an unquestioned platform. Isn't there someone in an editorial newsroom somewhere who asks the obvious question "Why would we repost such bullshit?"

On this day in 1940, Montreal Mayor Camillien Houde was arrested and charged with sedition for urging Quebec men to ignore conscription measures. He remained in an internment camp until 1944. When he returned to Montreal , 50,000 Montrealers greeted him.

So well written. No members of our household are on AISH/ADAP. But when Smith's UCPers announced the RICHEST prov in Canada was going to cut those with the least, $200 when the feds increased their cheque by $200 - that was a kick in the pants. This prov gov is cruel to humans - & generous to corps.

I realize the Europeans have largely gone to bed, but: I got bitten by a dog yesterday and had a bad reaction to it and ended up throwing up all night last night. My wife made me go to the emergency room; I've gotten IV fluids and an abdominal ultrasound. This is what I had to pay. I have insurance.
