A 5-year-old Texan just spent the first day of school in an ICE detention center. ICE kidnapped Liam Tadeo on his way to a soccer game with his dad. Liam should be in kindergarten. Instead, our government has thrown him in a prison camp hundreds of miles from home.
I hate the Republican Party so much, because they genuinely ruin everything. Turn everything, absolutely everything, into a miserable culture war. Cruz says it is an “excellent idea” to grill the *WNBA Commissioner* in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee? Just an absolute joke.

the sense of generational entitlement from conservative parents has been a really strong factor in Trumpism - the rage that their children are not replicas of them and their beliefs, of being told no, of being left behind.

This is absolutely WILD. Here's the dashboard video posted by @fritschner.bsky.social. Fast forward to about 1 minute. An ICE officer jumps out of a van and pulls a gun on this woman immediately before lying and claiming she "almost ran us over." *profanity warning if watching in public.

Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

I think it’s pretty clear that Miller is a genuine psychopath. Abusing multiple women, breaking his toddler’s collar bone, not returning her favorite toy. The weird, shameless livestream where he tried to mask being a fellow human, etc.

This is the problem with populism: you cannot build a republic on a foundation of conspiracies. Corruption and special interests are real challenges, but reducing politics to “us” against “them” infantilizes the electorate and sows the seeds of authoritarian rule.

I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.
