BREAKING: Republican attorneys general from Louisiana, Alabama, and Arkansas have filed two sweeping lawsuits targeting dozens of providers who ship abortion pills—and the blue states that protect them.

Every single story I’ve read basically has giant arrows pointing at it that say ➡️THIS IS WHY WOMEN STAY SILENT⬅️ but we still get the just asking innocent questions froth.

Seeing people post about how unfair the “mob justice” against the Cornell rapists is doesn’t really move me when there is no justice for survivors. The system doesn’t work; it enacts further punishment on the victims. Society is even crueler. So spare me the “mob justice” rhetoric about the accused

like i say every time this comes up, the term for what awaits survivors who go through the official system (cops, rape kit at the hospital, the hell of a trial where you as the victim get to be cross examined by yr rapist’s defense) is called “the second rape”

A truly heinous man has doxxed the Cornell victim on X and the comments are predictably vile. Based on countless interviews I’ve done with survivors, the trauma they are subjected to for coming forward is oftentimes even worse than the initial trauma they experienced. There is no real justice system

i worry that men think being A Good Guy is dramatically and heroically intervening on behalf of an endangered woman and then being publicly rewarded on a grand scale when actually being A Good Guy is just usually saying, “hey man that’s not funny” or “wow that’s fucked up” and there is no reward

i have some parasocial thoughts about Cleveland for just a sec i think it's far from Swift's best work BUT a lot of the people hating on it are actually missing the vulnerability in it that it shares with songs we like much more- i'm thinking Cornelia Street in particular but obv there are others
