I would, but you cancelled it before I got to the third episode, so what was the point in continuing if I know the story doesn't get finished?
Had a ridiculously hot ramen from Tonkotsu. The menu warned me. The waitress warned me. The cook warned me. It was so hot I got the mrs to recreate an episode of Hot Ones to top the experience. At the end I got to plug what I've got going on right now.
I was wondering why I’d got 19 clickthroughs from The Daily Telegraph…
Interesting development, forcing you to choose more than 1 act is great because thats what a normal voter would do.
X number of free votes. Pay for more. Must vote for X number of countries. Wonder if this is a dry run for the main contest? #Eurovision

If anyone defends Rod Liddle, pop this in front of their eyeballs - www.theguardian.com/society/2003...
Rod Liddle: Should it really be a crime to look at child pornography?
Rod Liddle: The one laudable and necessary aim - to protect children from abuse - has become warped by our consuming, obsessive hatred for those who find children sexually attractive.

*stern face* My mrs said something clever and nobody acknowledged it.
Went to see Spiderman, the mrs leaned over and said - "He's changing, he's got no control over his hormones, making him crazy and lash out at people... He's perimenopausal!" And in THAT fight later - "He has to let go of his hrt patch and accept the change." Hidden teachings in a Marvel movie

New from 404 Media: Google Earth has introduced an AI feature that lets anyone fabricate completely bullshit satellite images. In our own tests, we added a “bomb blast and crater” to an area of Los Angeles. This is a misinformation time bomb, will 100% be abused www.404media.co/google-earth...

Burnham calls more North Sea oil “pragmatic”. There is nothing at all pragmatic about more climate destruction. I call it “irresponsible”. I call Burnham’s attitude “dishonest” I call him capitulating to Trump “cowardly”.

oh my god!!!! there's an actual answer!!!! Google Maps does hide Brighton!!!!!!! bsky.app/profile/robi...
I actually know the answer to this and it's slightly insane. Google pulls from Wikipedia to determine if a place is a city, town, neighbourhood, whatever. Brighton's first line describes it as a "seaside resort" so Google Maps thinks it's a neighbourhood and doesn't display it in the "city" font.
if americans couldn't eat a burger under a democratic president, you would not hear the end of of it for prob 100 years
I believe this as well and it has changed profoundly how I see various periods in history, too.
One of my Crank Theories of Everything, at least of Everything in the Recent Past, is that we are dealing (badly) with COVID trauma we’d mostly prefer to pretend never happened.
