My statement responding to the repeated racist and Islamophobic attacks by All of Minneapolis (AOM)

I am calling on AOM to issue a retraction and to publicly apologize to Senator Fateh. At a time when we in the DFL need to come together under a big tent, engaging in racist and bad faith attacks on a popular member of the Minnesota legislature only divides us further.

The CBRC report did not find that any of the campaigns did anything wrong. The fault was found with the convention itself, not with Fateh's team, but the AOM crew keeps insisting that Fateh somehow cheated - which is smearing and libeling an upstanding state Senator who has the DFL endorsement.

The All of Minneapolis crew used their substantial newsletter today to send out a wildly inappropriate and racist attack on Omar Fateh this morning, comparing him to Graham Platner, and calling Fateh a fraudster. The email also repeats the lie that Fateh cheated to get the endorsement.

If I lived in Ramsey County, I’d vote Chuck for Sheriff.
