I guess AI Datacentres are this decades “diesel cars”. At the end of the 20th century various Governments including both UK and Ireland pushed the uptake of diesel cars over petrol. This never made any scientific sense imho. Now diesel is seen as a scourge once more, something to be eliminated.

Yesterday I saw someone on here say that expecting a date to be showered and groomed is a theft of their bodily autonomy and I'm still thinking about it. I may never stop thinking about it.

NIMBYism as a concept is problematic, Hibernophobic, and biphobic.
Side issue but “irreversible surgery“ is really starting to grate on me. Very few surgeries are reversible! You can’t just pop a tumour back into someone! Yet , the only time that phrase gets used is for gender affirming care.
