It should be illegal to make software that was previously a one-time purchase into a subscription. Imagine you bought a sofa and then 3 years later the shop told you they were going to start charging you £10 a month or else they'll take your sofa, that you already paid for, away

for iphone users, if you very suddenly regret NOT turning off biometric unlock, press the lock button on the side 5 times in row - this will lock your phone and require the passcode before biometric unlock can be used again, preventing police from using your face to unlock it against your will.

What I have learned today 1)Things to say to Feds: “Let me see your badge and the warrant.” and “I want to speak to my lawyer.” 2) Turn off biometrics on your phone 3) Keep your whistle handy We keep us safe.

British journalists do love to ban anything that annoys them and never give any thought to implementation, enforcement, punishment, consequences for violation, and those rules never applied to their employers. What does it mean to mandate real names when they regularly write about "Tommy Robinson"

The idea that social media melts kids' brains in completely unique ways we grow out of was always goofy but especially in the age of Elon Musk, a man the entire world has watched become completely dysfunctional in middle age because of drugs and posting

One of the obvious problems with a under-16 social media ban is that it won't work. (60%+ of Australian under-16s are still using these platforms). But it will make people feel like something has been done so they won't tackle the content, which is the real issue.

The media are portraying last night’s riot as a “protest”, and the rioters just aggravated locals, perhaps triggered by Farage. In reality, at the heart of it are highly motivated fascists who’ll travel miles and work hard to build this kind of violet mobilisation. bsky.app/profile/bobf...

One of last night’s rioters, moustached man next to the Restore Britain T-shirt guy, was Luke Jahn of National Rebirth hopenothate.org.uk/case-files-n...

Faragists are increasingly gunning for abortion. Suella Braverman called decriminalisation "repulsive" Tice called it "Labour's abortion carnage" Andrea Jenkyns said it was a "tragedy for unborn babies" & now Reform's by-election candidate says abortion is a "cowardly act" Surprised? Don't be

People who still think “gender criticals” are all basically liberals with reasonable concerns really should notice the language that is now being used and the demands being made and ask how this differs from what the American religious right says

In their letter on this issue, Sex Matters calls trans women in women’s spaces “deviants”. Yesterday, Sonia Sodha called them “fetishists”. This is a troubling escalation in rhetoric from a group that clearly feels emboldened.

Every so often I remember that the first ROH match I saw live featured Scotty 2 Hotty tagging with his son, which seems out of character for the promotion until you recall that the first EVER ROH match involved the Christopher Street Connection. Wrestling is weird (complimentary).
