We love using mNeonGreen for live but have failed to find good reagents for things like expansion microscopy. This is a fantastic addition to the toolbox. Great work!

Resolution isn't just optics. Structural resolvability also depends on probe size, linkage error, labelling efficiency, steric hindrance and, molecular organisation. VLab4Mic models all of these starting from PDB or AlphaFold structures

✨ Blinking #nanobodies that work for single-molecule localization 🔬 Our new preprint shows that the self-blinking dye JF635b restores robust, buffer-free blinking in #nanobodies, enabling reliable #dSTORM, #MINFLUX, and more, without chemical-switching buffers. Opening new possibilities for #ExM!

We also tried it recently and indeed, it blinks nicely without any smelly buffers or extra stuff added. Makes SMLM sample preparation a breeze. I hope soon new additional colors will be discovered, apart from the far red.
