An LLM however has no index. It composes the answer token by token, and every token pushes your whole prompt through hundreds of billions of parameters. A few hundred words means a few hundred full passes. Put simply,librarian pointing at a shelf vs. writer drafting a fresh essay, every single time.

I love these PIP3 biosensors because it labels the plasma membrane so well. You can see the cell's edge so clearly along with any intracellular vesicles. Also, this cell is so blebby. This video was taken when I was still working on endocytosis :D Good old times! #FluorescenceFriday
