My very, very best advice if you're voting by mail aligns with what many election administrators recommend. If you put your ballot in the mail, do it ASAP and check to make sure it was received. Even better is to return it to a dropbox or deliver it in person at the election office.

Many (if not most) local election offices make it easy to track that your mail ballot was received and processed. For those that don't, try calling. But regardless of whether Trump succeeds in getting USPS to refuse to deliver some ballots, don't risk it. Make sure your ballot is counted.

The only message not voting sends to a politician is that your opinion can be safely ignored because you will never hold them accountable. That's it. You can tell yourself not voting is good for your personal brand or your moral well being, but never pretend it makes a difference in the real world.
