Patrick Stewart's passing feels a whole hell of a lot like Dolly's. It's hard to imagine that singular talents found in people born in the working class or working poor will get fostered the ways theirs were. The things that nurtured those talents have been stripped for profit by assholes.

American liberals are so used to choosing lesser evils now they have become completely incapable of imagining a better world in favor of one that is in a permanent state of managed decline.

They have vaccines that prevent cancer now or drastically reduce the risk of developing certain cancers. And they are working on more. That is pretty amazing.
