Placeholder assets in a game should look obnoxiously temporary, so obvious that no one would mistake it for the final asset. In past games we've used the doge dog (rip) as an icon, hot pink versions of characters, our CEO's head, etc. If you use a temp asset that seems passable, it may stay there.
Reference vs art my painting is not done yet!! but this was my first time using blender to make ref. I'm crying because the 3d is so shitty and making it was so painful, but i feel like it helped make my painting so much more solid. x')

EA rewards expertise and wild success with layoffs. When your games get worse, it’s 1000% because of gross and uninformed decisions by execs who don’t care for those who make their success possible, or for the institutional knowledge that allows for future greater games. This needs to change.
