AIPAC: "Our members remain determined to ensure that voters reject Dr. El-Sayed and his radical anti-Israel agenda in November."
30 million dollars on ads about Obama, the greatest American to ever live, blessing Stevens with his presence. Then they immediately shift to throwing even more money at the party that says Obama was a Kenyan terrorist. Give me a fucking break. Get this organization out of Democratic politics.
If AIPAC's commitment to arming a rogue state isn't enough for you, I cannot emphasize enough that this organization is just a slush fund for GOP donors to influence Dem races. Their donor base is mostly conservatives who want Republicans to win.

Fun fact: I just published the full story on this topic mere minutes ago. By my count, at least 12 pastors, seminarians & former clergy have launched campaigns for federal office this year, and 5 are already nominees. In response, the GOP is attacking their faith. religionnews.com/2026/08/04/p...
'They're not real pastors': As clergy run as Democrats, Republicans question their faith

I have a chicken roommate now. She got attacked by a racoon that's been rremoved now) and needed an "ICCU" (Intensive Chicken Care Unit) and the best solution was inside. She comes and goes like an indoor/outdoor cat now.

I pitched both of my usual outlets about the Cunningham stuff, one said yes, one said not right now. In 2019 I would have had a dozen editors competing for my words on this.
It’s true, in the past I would have had multiple editors in my inbox asking me to write about the Cunningham stuff. I haven’t gotten a single assignment request. Trans writers used to be tokenized to write about these things but now that the topic is “mainstream,” those bylines go elsewhere.
I hate sounding like a conspiracy person but there’s a reason that this Sophie Cunningham thing is on like day 7 of discourse and how there’s absolutely very little trans staff writers driving the news coverage of it.
I need people to understand that for the last half decade that there’s been an ecosystem of trans folks in sports media who have worked unpaid to serve as experts for context, sources and educators on what it’s like for trans athletes, in hopes of potential bylines and contacts. That’s dried up.

I would love to tell a lot of these stories and feel like this is an angle that would be a slam dunk in terms of attention in our new reality.
There has been one editor in the country i know of who has been interested in stories about the reality for young trans kids who play sports post Hecox and BPJ. People used to beg me for stories I had all over the country. I don’t have time to pitch every outlet on earth. Silence is telling.

this is truly motivating me to use inshallah even more than I already do after all it’s the faster and more fun way to say “if the good lord’s willing and the creek don’t rise,” speaking as someone with Southern roots.
