EHRC Code of Practice comes into effect today so remember to be an absolute pain in the arse to any service provider who is trying to actively enforce it.

This is exactly what the Code of Practice says the law requires, but read the comments to see half of the replies saying 'no one is trying to do that' and the other half saying 'yes that's what we've done and it's good'

Seeing people saying Bev Craig won the Mayoralty "on a platform of trans inclusion". She may have done, though I suspect next to no voters knew about it as no parties campaigned in the by-election. But she still won as part of the Labour Party whose official position towards trans people is genocide

the Green campaign did try to demonstrate Coggins as a serious contender and a competent candidate, which I think was important, but you could have put a red or yellow rosette on her and other than the token Gaza policy nothing would've looked any different

big lessons for Green Party in Manchester; don't allow momentum to seep away, campaign hard for every contest, even just getting the message out is worth it. don't pick candidates without good communication skills, especially around key national policies. don't go timid when things get tough.

response to the t-shirt crap should have been; "this isn't news, what is news is the cost of living crisis, climate change & complicity in illegal wars overseas" - hit hard on what works, message discipline is key. keep hammering Burnham on everything he doesn't "change" from Starmer.
