I’m transgender, I live in Kansas, if you want to help rn donate to either the ACLU of Kansas or the ACE foundation in Wichita - the ACE foundation especially is the organization that will help people with money for groceries, rent, etc. More orgs also included in attached img acefoundationict.org

It seems all Kansas-issued trans drivers' licenses are invalid, effective tomorrow It is now illegal for trans people to drive a car until they surrender their license at a DMV (that most will need to drive to) and have it reissued with the wrong gender marker This was never about woman's sports

If you do not fight at the barricade of trans healthcare you will fight at the barricade of the most stigmatized medication you are on and you will do it with fewer experienced allies because you left trans people to die.

They won't start with banning birth control. First they'll lie about it. Then dictate who can prescribe it, use it, fund it, in what forms, and for how long. Suddenly, your doctor won't call you back. I know this is what they'll do because it's what they're doing to transgender healthcare right now.

Like I'm fascinating with the Larian thing mostly because I'm sure Vincke genuinely believed he and his team are using AI 'responsibly' - they're not releasing AI slop, everything released is "done by artists", etc. There's simply no interrogation with the philosophy the tool represents.

I am not sure CEOs (who mostly talk to moneymen and hang out on LinkedIn) fully understand how much the AI technology they and everyone in their circle agrees is the Next Big Thing is utterly loathed by the rest of the world. These are people resistant to the idea that tech can have an ideology.

consider my feedback: i loved working at @larianstudios.com until AI. reconsider and change your direction, like, yesterday. show your employees some respect. they are world-class & do not need AI assistance to come up with amazing ideas.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice. They try to downplay this on the Steam store page by describing the AI usage as vaguely as possible.
