You might as well close the course. Which they're also doing. This is an attack on learning, and everyone is just shrugging.
The anthropomorphic language is misleading. It is not ‘rogue’ AI that is defying its masters. It has no will or intention. It’s a piece of software that was clumsily programmed to do a thing, and it is doing that thing.
