I was appalled (though not surprised) when I learned Sunday that Senate Dems intend to help Republicans fund the government through the election, with one minimal concession that has nothing to do with election subversion or ongoing Trump theft of federal dollars from blue states. And I remain so.

Todd Blanche is Donald Trump's personal attorney, not the people’s attorney. A vote to confirm him as U.S. Attorney General is a vote for corruption, lawlessness, and lies.
He serves in the branch that the Constitution specifically charges with the duty of removing the President for criming.

Appropriate air quotes because the most infuriating part about Americans debating "lockdown" is that it simply never happened. Having to pick up your Applebees and eat it on the sectional does not count. There wasn't even a brief moment where "everything" was closed. That's not real.

Rich urbanites need to allow apartments to be built near them to lower rents and they need to allow themselves to be taxed more to fund services and housing if they want to eliminate homelessness. Both involve sharing (money/space/amenities), which the rich urbanite is loathe to do.

Doing an end-run around the Senate's Constitutional "advise and consent" authority to illegally take money from taxpayers, and give it to himself and criminals he likes. Alone, one of the most impeachable offenses in US history.
So many sneering elitist journalists with snarky posts over the past months that the Reflecting Pool story was trivial. It was so trivial that the DC US Attny presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict an innocent man to please the President while they both lied about it.

Obviously none of this can happen without court packing but once the new liberal court is in place, there need to be arguments ready to hand them.
