I sincerely think I could responsibly use the Death Note. Honestly and truly. However, the Brown Note – the book that makes people shit themselves uncontrollably if their name is written in its pages – would turn me into a tyrant within a fraction of a second.

It’s been several years since we went to the Maryland Renn Fest (inertia is a helluva drug) but it is insane to me that now people have to queue for half an hour to buy tickets online a month in advance. Every time I’ve been it’s been quasi-spontaneous, tickets at the box office.

Got popped in the face with a branch yesterday. Was wearing a mask (folks mask up when doing yardwork), so my face didn’t get too dinged up but, would prefer it hadn’t happened. The bottom cut is from the wire in my mask, the top much worse but also could be worse.

I’ve done it: I’ve read every Amazing Spider-man (with digressions into events that include ASM) starting from One More Day and through to whatever Marvel Unlimited had (Apr 26). That’s probably only 25-30% of the Spider-man content, though.
