Advocating for zero traffic deaths and serious injuries in #JerseyCity We work with @turnpiketrap.org @hudcostreets.org @bikejc.org

It’s great to see a standing room only on a 9-Montgomery bus after 8:30. We advocated for better bus service on the 9 last year but the best we could get was service extended later into the evening. Nonetheless, the demand is there and that’s great to see. Hope we can get better service.

I’m joining @HudCoStreets this Wednesday to canvass for A Better Light Rail! They’re calling for more frequent service, with trains running every 10 minutes, and for extensions to Bayfront AND Bergen County, so the Hudson Bergen Light Rail can finally live up to its name.

Join us for Jersey City's Pride Ride next month! Friday, August 14 Grove Street PATH Meet 7:30 pm / Roll 8:00 pm Free to ride. No registration required. Just show up and roll!

The list of problems with implementation of the new NJ e-bike law is long — and lawmakers who passed it aren’t talking. - MVC is backpedaling on multiple issues - People w/disabilities are out of luck - insurance requirement doesn’t cover e-bike rider I dove into as many angles as possible ⬇️

Cyclists are frustrated, upset. Is NJ's new e-bike law already broken?

New Jersey's new e-bike law - the strictest in the country - goes into effect July 19, but it's causing confusion for cyclists, tourists and even MVC.

#JCcrashes 😡 Hit-and-run last night on Newark Ave near Coles St. Cyclist was biking down Newark Ave when hit by a black SUV which drove away after the cyclist landed on their hood. Looking for any information about the driver.

www.reddit.com/r/jerseycity... A Jake Ephros staffer was a victim of a hit and run last night, suffering a broken arm. While the admin is increasing enforcement, I don't like how the mayor keeps saying it's focused on 440/JFK to target non-residents. $10 the perpetrator here was cutting through TPK.

SafeStreetsJC released an op-ed describing ways for Jersey City to increase revenue from parking reform instead of raising property taxes. One way is increased fees at parking meters. Did you know that Jersey City’s parking meter fees are usually only $0.75 and haven’t been updated in years?

In the midst of a budget crisis, Jersey City is leaving $100M on the table We can plug Jersey City's budget hole, make parking easier, and make our streets safer. Our op-ed on the deficit and the opportunity for parking reform.

Would be great to get buses moving here in @jerseycitynj.bsky.social Let’s start with preventing drivers from illegally parking at corners where buses have to make turns and illegal double parking on Central that makes it impossible for bendy buses for the 119 to be able to pass.

We have another Jersey City Light-Up Ride this Friday, July 10! This month's route is shorter than usual, heading west on Christopher Columbus Drive to make a small loop in Marion before zig-zagging south toward Greenville, then through Berry Lane Park and back to Grove St. 1/3
