It’s great to see a standing room only on a 9-Montgomery bus after 8:30. We advocated for better bus service on the 9 last year but the best we could get was service extended later into the evening. Nonetheless, the demand is there and that’s great to see. Hope we can get better service.

We can make really nice bike lanes like this in Jersey City. There’s a couple places we could do this elsewhere.
PM rush yesterday and AM rush today the Hudson Bergen Light Rail is down because the trains have growing reliability and maintenance issues. This isn’t sustainable. @customeradvocate.bsky.social

@jerseycitynj.bsky.social there should be absolutely zero tolerance for double parking on Jersey Ave between Newark and Montgomery. It creates a mess for everyone and buses end up getting stuck because they can’t maneuver around the illegally parked car. @safestreetsjerseycity.org

People are noticing our newly-launched Traffic Enforcement Unit 👀 The Traffic Enforcement Unit is not only keeping residents safe, but generating revenue to solve our financial crisis. Many of these dangerous drivers are non-residents who use our streets as a cut-through.
Would be great to get buses moving here in @jerseycitynj.bsky.social Let’s start with preventing drivers from illegally parking at corners where buses have to make turns and illegal double parking on Central that makes it impossible for bendy buses for the 119 to be able to pass.
