Some surprisingly shady comms from Guide Dogs here, taking an opt-out rather than opt-in approach to a 70% increase(!!) in my monthly donation. The subject line is "Proposed changes to your donation", which is the kind of vague that would fail basic Consumer Duty regs.
This is an extraordinary thing for the editor in chief of publishers Bloomsbury to say. But it does also explain why they published a book by Johan Hari which defamed me (claimed I'd used ozempic; I hadn't and wouldn't) and then had to apologise publicly to me and insert an errata.
