Just lurkin' n' livin' the common Tylenol-American diaspora experience from within the USA. If you follow me, and I 🤔🤷‍♂️, you'll likely be blocked. I don't create content. I do not want or need popularity. Probably not getting that followback either.

The one I find shocking is Ohio. Democrats won statewide races by as many as 8 points. In return for this stunning political rout, they were rewarded with… neither house of the state legislature. Their big victory was (barely) breaking the supermajority in the state senate! It’s antidemocratic.

Not sure enough attention is being paid to how well the Texas gerrymander worked for Republicans. Democratic vote share rose 12 pts; they won the popular vote 53-47. But they only gained one seat and the delegation is still 24-14 Republicans. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Un...

All of this. And why it's so critical we don't declare the election a "win for democracy." In a democracy, no one in power keeps people from voting, threatens poll workers, spreads lies about elections etc. We desperately need people to now demand we get ourselves the democracy we don't have.

This is so wrong The reason “Trump didn’t steal the elections” is because we & the pro-voter coalition stopped him EIGHT times over the past 21 months Here’s how: a thread (1/x)

Beyond the gratification of watching true goblins eat shit, the reason I've been so moved by the Texas results is because from Elon on down so many nasty bullies have moved there because they saw it as a place mean shitheads like them could rule/plunder, and I love them getting told to get lost.

Markets now have Dems winning the Senate as slightly more likely than Arsenal winning the Premier League, which sounds very reassuring if you first learned about soccer and politics in the last year or so

This, but for the killing and theft and corruption and negligence. I mean, yes, this was stupid, and am the things described here, but when there are so many transgressions that are so much larger, this is performative. Pick a bigger nail, and hammer that.

Donald Trump's dangerously low Halloween flyover was a reckless vanity stunt. He terrified local residents, disrupted flights and risked aviation safety to parade around his new Qatar-gifted toy—wasting taxpayer dollars, even as prices keep soaring. I'm demanding answers.

With all my heart I hope Talarico wins, but this kind of thing has to stop; it is one of the reasons so many Democratic voters hate the Democratic party. And it's not a Talarico problem; it's a Democratic consultant-class problem.

Endless emails from Talarico and his associated entities begging for money.

Fun fact: His shirt refers to the death metal band eponymously titled Death, fronted by singer Chuck Schuldiner, who died from brain cancer at the age of 34 even though he had health insurance because his provider argued the cancer was a preexisting condition. So yeah. The shirt is on point.

Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

A good way to motivate people to vote, especially early voting or mail voting, would be if there was some way you could guarantee that they would stop getting campaign texts as soon as they vote

Bolosonaro is being investigated for being on honest to God Brazilian crime lord who was running to do for him and his crime family what our President did for his, lost, then fled Brazil illegally, and if Dems aren’t running this story 24/7 for the next week they are leaving real votes on the table.

BREAKING: The U.S. government is granting visas to Flávio Bolsonaro and his family following his defeat in Brazil's presidential election.

The votes aren’t there. NOW. So you do it, air it, CHANGE THE MINDS. You don’t fucking sit down and go “we’ve tried nothing, and that’s our best.” Fuck! You go in there like a winner, you work the public, educate, KEEP GOING, and we can get there. Sit there like a lump and we get lumps. FUCK.

Kamala Harris: I think that going in the direction of impeachment is not a good idea. I was in the Senate for the last go-round, and the votes aren’t there. I think after the election, we all have to just also agree that our attitude has to be to get stuff done…
