Eddie Lin, Alexis Mercedes Rinck, and Rob Saka voted no.

Freeview switch-off is a terrible idea for many reasons, not least that the signal is much, much more reliable than broadband and isn't subject to DNS attacks.

I used to work near one of Rod Liddle’s preferred lunchtime restaurants and would often catch him exiting as I was heading home. Once saw him “live life to the full” all down his front and over his shoes.
Jimmy Cricket : truly one of the nicest men in this business. Daft as a brush on stage (and able to be cross generational in his appeal) but so warm and kind and generous and supportive off it. He also has a lovely family of good people. Ah this is so sad. RIP Jimmy.
Also try to live your life so that Rebekah Brooks doesn’t pay tribute to you.

Might I suggest here that after what we’ve been through as individuals and as a society - and I’m talking about the UK here, though I’ve had sympathetic and relatable conversations with people from lots of countries - we deserve better from journalists who purport to analyse our common experiences?

So why is it that with Long Covid 7 years on we still have this dismissal agenda despite a massive amount of scientific evidence? We really ought to study this sociological phenomenon more closely. That’s what we need more evidence on, not the existence of LC.
#LongCovid is not a ‘subject’ to dispute. It’s a health condition that changes people’s lives. Definitions can evolve & that’s not an excuse to dismiss the illness itself. Diagnostic criteria for diabetes have repeatedly changed over time but no one takes u seriously if you say diabetes in disputed!
