Stack Overflow was so great for 5 years because people would just answer your questions. Tried to use it yesterday, and I was reminded why AI is killing it so completely. The only thing it seems to be able to offer is the kind of annoying pedantry that AI agents are instructed to avoid.
Why didn't the eagles just fly Odysseus straight to Ithaca
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has the constitutional authority to temporarily appoint someone to fill Mitch McConnell’s seat. If GOP lawmakers want to challenge that, they can do so. This will be the first big test to see whether Beshear really is presidential material. I hope he passes the test.
based on the trailer alone I don't think Chris Nolan even played Mario Odyssey
Think about a star student from another country. Intellect off the chart who wants to get a masters in computer science, and paying out of state tuition subsidizing American born students who pay a cheaper rate. And we are saying, no. Stabbing ourselves in the foot to do a racism.
The Trump administration is scrapping a policy that has allowed international students and exchange visitors to remain in the US for as long as their studies last, replacing it with a four-year limit. Read more: bloom.bg/4fib1sh 📷: Sophie Park/Bloomberg

This is the kindest way I've ever heard someone say "Let's shit out some code."
it just extrudes in the shape of its context, the context can be managed to have it not learn but extrude differently. its a little gremlin piping code ... lets say soft serve
what if the real video games industry was the people who made the games along the way
I’ve rarely used LLMs in my coding, but last week a friend who manages a software engineering team at a major company convinced me to try it. I used Clause Opus 4.8, and he bought me a month’s subscription to the Max plan. Here’s how it went. TLDR: It failed, but I can see the appeal.
Court can't go on like this. The Constitution as plainly as possible says people who were born here have an unequivocal right to citizenship. Four people whose ONLY job is to read the Constitution for the rest of their lives just tried to overturn it because they're tired of brown people. Pack it.
My copy of Sawyer Lee and the Quest to Just Stay Home by @zachweinersmith.bsky.social arrived just in time to start it as a bedtime story yesterday. So far, getting big Roald Dahl vibes from the writing style in the best way. us.macmillan.com/books/978037...

Almost a decade ago, I was very Special Interested in mushrooms and developed an organizing training framework based on mycelium. The core teaching was, people think the above-ground part (the mushroom) is the body of the organism, but that isn't the case. So too with movement. (cont)
