Finding various lefty people in the humanities kinda annoying but not thinking it is worth burning down every free institution in the west to prevent such people emerging nor allying with the fascists in the process of doing as much? This is a superpower.
english isn't for cowards. if you're not saying 'torpify,' that's a skill issue. there's no Académie Française telling you what to do. if you try to type 'pallific' and freak out when you see a little red underline, maybe you're not ready to roll with the big dogs.

If I had to vote with no prior consultation or campaign on this I would definitely vote red. Because I’m afraid of death. Harsh truth but I know myself and don’t trust other people enough in a snap election scenario.

Being into cats feels so debasing. You give everything over to this animal — time, labor, money — but when you want them to sit next to you, they refuse and jump away. When they finally sit on your lap, you sit motionless to the point of physical pain, afraid to disturb them. Humiliating.
I’m not a mom, but I’ve noticed that “wine mom” and “Patagonia wearing mom” and “moms pushing strollers” are cited as people who aren’t expected to take political action, or even to hold strong opinions. You all had moms, why do you think so little of her? Because she made you eat veggies? Grow up.

The obsession with white male conservatives as a beacon of authenticity means that the left is desperate for a guy who looks like John Fetterman and votes like Bernie Sanders. But the guys who look like John Fetterman vote like John Fetterman.
I don't know whether it's unhinged, but it's certainly divisive: I believe all novels should have illustrations in them again. Like etchings in Dickens, or Japanese Light Novels. Every single novel would benefit. Artists would thrive. We all win.

We need a bigger national spotlight on this building raid, fam. Agents dropped from helicopters onto the roof. Citizens and non-citizens alike were dragged from their homes in the night. People who weren't kidnapped during the raid had their belongings seized after the fact. This is madness.
