It gets an actual chuckle out of me seeing people on here say "now the TRUE test is whether the shitlibs can live up to their own words and line up behind El-Sayed!" only for Stevens, Whitmer, every prominent Michigan Dem, the DSCC, etc. to have endorsed El-Sayed before they can finish the sentence.
This is the exact opposite of the truth. It's been clear for a long time that for the Leftists and so-called "Progressives", this "Vote Blue No Matter Who" ONLY applies if THEIR candidate wins. Them getting a taste of their own hypocritical medicine now SHOULD be a wake-up calls, but it's not.
Stevens/Schumer/Gillibrand have already endorsed AES. It’s not disarmament. You are not at war with the people who agree with you.

I think it’s very funny that people believe that some all powerful establishment is picking candidates when the establishment under our current primary system is always the people who vote in the primary.
Likewise the idea that interest groups are “buying” candidates. If it were that easy everyone would do it lol. YOU try making politicians do what you want just because you donated!
I meant to post this last night but if you’re mad about any of the primary results you got 24 hours to bleed, try not to say anything you’ll regret in 48, and then it’s Blue No Matter Who.
I think Stevens disagrees and seems like she's strongly backing El-Sayed in the general. The primary's over. Time to stop the moderate-progressive battle and beat Mike Rogers.

My ice-cold boring take that will definitely not go viral is that a primary result with a margin of victory of roughly 1 percent tells you precisely nothing about The Future Of The Party.

This kind of spending is oligarchy in action, to smother democracy through its formal channels, and is getting normalized. Still he won.
I have little to add to the chat, but I will say this: Those of us who spend a lot of time talking about politics overestimate how much other people care about, or are even familiar with, the labels we use to describe, denigrate, or celebrate candidates. Sometimes we’re high on our own supply.

How often does a candidate who suspended their campaign win?
Yes, it would be a vast expense to get a totally new, ultra high end laptop but you can get a decent laptop for a few hundred, and an acceptable one for less, and a tolerable one for even less
