My incredibly lukewarm take is that paying taxes isn’t an inherently bad thing (in fact, it can actually be a good thing); people just need to be able have a say in what their taxes are paying for, and government should be obligated by law to spend taxpayer dollars accordingly

Just because someone does something for money doesn’t foreclose their right to do it for their own happiness, and share the results. You’re an entitled jerk if you object to that.
