Two people tried to enter a screening of The Odyssey without buying tickets after hiding inside a miniature model of the Trojan Horse. 😂😂😂

The Danish gov’t has installed floating platforms planted with wildflowers and native vegetation in the harbors and canals of Copenhagen, to create urban habitat sanctuaries for birds, bees, pollinators, insects, and even some aquatic life. #FlowersOfBluesky #InnovativeSolutions💡
Aotearoa, once again we have the benefit of being able to watch what happens overseas. This is where the NZF bill wants to take us.

#WinstonPeters is, in many ways, New Zealand's Nigel #Farage. They have both built enduring careers by curating grievance. This is politically effective. It is also corrosive. #nzpol #AtlasNetwork open.substack.com/pub/bryanbru...
Can anyone who lives within striking distance of Thames Ditton help give an elderly cat a loving home? #CatsOfBluesky
Uk cat lovers- . Croquembouche's brother is owned by a lady who is helping someone who has just entered palliative care. She has 15 cats. Most are seniors. 5 are going to a charities home for life situation, it's reluctantly accepted some will be pts. If anyone can love one I can connect.

Please sir, my first past the post electoral system, it is very sick.
The elections in the UK yesterday are so far showing Two Englands with a gulf between them - and maybe by the end Four Britains. A Disunited Kingdom. In areas that voted heavily for Brexit, Reform got 41%. Everywhere else they got an average of 10%.
After the depressing results today, a rare instance of hope. Ian reminds us that support for Reform is actually declining compared with 2025: a Farage government isn't inevitable, but we need to fight with all we can to make sure it doesn't happen.
It doesn't feel great today admittedly, but nothing is inevitable. Reform is beatable. inews.co.uk/opinion/dont...
How about a TV that automatically cuts the volume by half during the commercials and back to full when the show comes back. Now THAT would be a SmartTV. 🧠 📺
I'm just back from six days in Melbourne. The state govt has made all public transport free for a second month, and halved fuel excise on petrol and diesel for three months. There's also a steady stream of public messaging about saving fuel for the common good. Feels like they're taking it seriously
Poll on fuel crisis Rate govt handling Strongly approve 12% Approve 17% (29%) Str disapprove 23% Disapprove 17% (40%) Neutral / unsure 24% & 7 % (31%) Future confidence in govt management Great deal 12% Fair 27% (39%) Not much 32% None 24% (56%) Unsure 5%
This is straight-up disaster capitalism. Using a crisis to remove regulations that protect public infrastructure whilst enriching donors.
NZ finally moves on fuel crisis - first order of the day is to allow heavier trucks on the road for longer & allow heavy vehicles in previously disallowed routes Road maintenance costs tens of billions a year - and National-ACT-NZF are going to add to it www.beehive.govt.nz/release/gove...
Remember that time Jacinda Ardern pulled out of Mike Hosking’s show and he (and others) proceeded to have an absolute meltdown about it for weeks. Weird that the Luxon situation this week hasn’t warranted a breaking news banner and a similar level of vile commentary, wonder what the difference is🤔🫠
If the PM is ducking media spots, the opposition should be throwing their hands high and asking if they can come on TV and talk about the stuff the PM is too scared to.
