There's nothing wrong with playing the critically acclaimed 10/10s. They tend to be loved for a reason! But many of them are rated so highly in part because they appeal to everyone. The 5s, 6s, and 7s? That's where you'll find many of the games that feel like they were made for you specifically.

...and the magic that only a 6/10 game can possess. Enjoy! kimimithegameeatingshemonster.com/2026/08/14/t...

Finally played Selaco. Expected a good boomer shooter, but wasn't ready to get sucked in so hard. Got myself the OST too. Music turned way up + HDR is the way to go. Late congrats to @selaco.bsky.social & the team. Cool project origin story btw. Selaco fan art by Charles Lemor

it's sooo funny that the marvel movies eventually replicated the exact thing people disliked about the comics and preferred the movies for: overstuffed event crossovers that intimidate readers, demand you look at a whole bunch of other shit to know the story, and don't even tell a good story

You can’t own anything physical anymore, everything is digital, you can’t own anything digital now, storage is too expensive, you cant stream anything because they took it off the service once their parent company got bought out, you can’t get a McFlurry because the machine is broken

Spending my morning writing a statement for press inquiries about all this when all I want to do is say "consumers haven't had purchasing power in about ten years now because we gave all of our money to like ten weird guys, what did you all expect"

The artwork of Xak: The Art of Visual Stage used on the cover of the #SuperFamicom release. Removed logos, applying the usual upscale/clean/retouch process. Unfortunately sources weren't very good so I might come back to this one. No clue on the artist, any info let me know!

Xak: The Art of Visual Stage clean artwork used on the cover of the Super Famicom release. Image depicts a young warrior with a dark cape holding a sword and shield standing on top of a rocky formation. To the left the face of a light blue hair girl with a star earring can be seen. Above there's a red dragon, a dark long hair man in black and some sorte of mechanized eerie looking creature with a black and blue background that resembles moving drapes.
