Artists are allowed to make fucked up upsetting art. You are allowed to block them if it bothers or triggers you. You are not allowed to demand that transgressive art never exist. Especially when the artists are marginalized or queer and already have society trying to erase them.

In my experience: asking about process and tools is very helpful in catching someone out on using genAI, because real artists genuinely LOVE talking about their process and tools. Being vague or evasive about one’s process is a huge tell that they just generated it.
