I don’t invest in Bitcoin because I don’t want to benefit from murder for hire and terrorism inc. This logic can extend to not investing in certain regular companies as well. Probably not super niche but in the world I move a rare argument.

These things are all decided by the framing effects; nobody ever actually offers you a gamble like this so nobody has good intuitions about what it would make sense to do. tbh it was a good day for economics when we tacitly agreed to give up trying to understand risk aversion
we screwed with using response duration for annotation, but not in a this-is-a-well-written-scientific-paper kind of way. super cool to see it done carefully!

And all because the organisers don’t want transphobes peddling hate at their event. A nauseating spectacle of spite.
I adore examples of good crosspolination across languages. In-line dependencies is an awesome uv feature. Excited to see it inhabit the R and Quarto worlds as well!
