And there it is: voting for Opp is voting for National or someone not Labour. The fact he even engaged with the question - during an election campaign! - shows a breathtaking degree of incompetence that would be a liability if part of a coalition government.

I hate how we're being prepped for this as if it's inevitable. Nats pretending it's fiscally irresponsible not to, Labour as if they're taking a bullet for us by not. We spend well below the OECD average. It's only the greed of the 1% that makes this a financial issue, like everything else. #nzpol

We should reconsider the term „energy crisis“ when speaking about the effects of the Iran war. This is very specifically a crisis of fossil fuels and their single point of failure. Fossil fuels are no longer synonymous with „energy“. We have other, better options.
