protip if you want to do torture players on hard difficulties: put in enemie spawners like in the kiss: psycho circus game and put them in nasty spots then get ready for critics to shit on your game for that reason lol

I think it's kinda amazing there is someting at basically every corner of DoE and SoA that pisses me off. Flying Swords, Jesus depiction that fights back and tells you off when you shoot it, the fucking music, time travel, egyptian maps, eartquakes etc. etc. etc. lmao

so... im working on a level editor now because i miss hammer. here's an early vid of the clipping tool working with debug visualizations. watch this space if you also yearn for the days of old CSG #leveldesign #godotengine #gamedev (does this tag even apply if its an app for gamedevs?)

i made a map for this! this is an original limits map (slightly lower than dosquake's technical limits), so everything is under 600 world polys from any view, and averages ~350 (well... maybe closer to 400 for me...) also supports DM play! go check out the pack and everyone else's maps!

I (finally) released the 30th Anniversary Limits Jam for #Quake, just in time for the big day itself! 16 maps + start map made to the same constraints as the original campaign. Go play it here! www.slipseer.com/index.php?re...

wow you have dogshit taste (remembers im trying to be nicer to people who like different things) uh i mean, it's beautiful how the breadth of human experience is so wide it encompasses those with good taste and those with dogshit taste
