not being able to move on from a fandom is stunted growth. fandom has gotten weirdly reactionary about this but it’s true. if you can’t let go of characters created by someone suing amnesty international for identifying her as a bigot and need to be told that’s just fine you are not a serious person

I've been getting back into comics while I wait for more info from my concept job, and I thought I'd make a post about something very important to me, which is COMIC PANEL VARIATION and HOW TO THINK ABOUT IT.
the main reason to go after the rich is that if you don’t the entire structure of your society is predicated on the whims of people who are entirely disconnected from ordinary life billionaires are simply too dangerous to exist, and any budgetary stuff that comes out of it is just a bonus

seeing news about a "memory shortage." it's not a shortage. billionaires who hate you hoarded it all so they could make everything worse and stupider and more expensive, just like with most shortages
not really joining in with the epstein news because i simply can't think about it. the totality of it, the abuse, its normalisation, the degree to which its perpetuators did not and will not see justice depresses me so existentially that i personally can't find any catharsis posting about it
